Shooting of serials and films can be started from July

The Film and TV Producers Council (TV and Web Wing), IFTPC and the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) held a virtual meeting on Wednesday to discuss the resumption of shooting for the film and serial serials. Let us note that due to the lockdown due to corona infection, shooting of film and serials was closed from 17 March 2020.

Thousands of people are sitting unemployed and loss of revenue. With this, FWICE has prepared a 25-point guideline for its workers on health awareness. All these issues were discussed in detail in the meeting. Producers have agreed on all issues of this guideline. It also includes Covid insurance of 50 lakhs for workers.

 The Producers body also promised to help FWICE to pay overdue payments to technicians and artists, and has promised to pay the workers’ previous dues. The IFTPC requested FWICE to submit a list of defaulters. In this meeting, Federation President BN Tiwari said that the objective of IFTPC and FWICE would be to resume shooting.

JD Majethia, Shyamashish Bhattacharya, Abhimanyu Singh, Nitin Vaidya and FWICE President BN Tiwari, General Secretary Ashok Dubey, Treasurer Gangeshwarlal Srivastava and Chief Advisor Ashok Pandit were present at the meeting on behalf of IFTPC.
