Music Expansion: Himesh Reshammiya Melodies Secures Audio Rights for Anil Sharma’s Arjun Naga
Himesh Reshammiya’s music label, Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, continues its rapid growth across mainstream cinema by acquiring the music rights for director Anil Sharma’s upcoming action-entertainer, Arjun Naga. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in the label’s aggressive expansion strategy, extending its reach far beyond Himesh’s home productions and solidifying its presence as a major player in the Indian music industry.
Arjun Naga serves as the third creative collaboration between composer Himesh Reshammiya and director Anil Sharma, following their previous works on the 2007 hit Apne and the 2018 film Genius. Designed as a multi-genre mass entertainer, the film features Utkarsh Sharma in the lead role alongside Arjun Rampal as the primary antagonist. Reshammiya, who has personally composed the soundtrack, has crafted a diverse album spanning multiple musical genres tailored for commercial appeal.
Expanding Record Slate under Himesh Reshammiya Melodies
The first venture is Yeh Prem Mol Liya, which is directed by Sooraj Barjatya, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari.
The next is Gunmaaster G9 which is Directed by Aditya Datt, reuniting Himesh with Emraan Hashmi alongside Genelia Deshmukh and Aparshakti Khurana.
The next one is Pal Bhar Ke Liye which is Directed by Vikram Phadnis, featuring Viineet Kumar Siingh, Saiyami Kher, and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
The other projects are many and few of the upcoming titles include an unannounced project produced by Kamal Mukut, alongside music rights for two regional Marathi films.
With high-profile acquisitions like Gunmaaster G9—which brings together the hit Aashiq Banaya Aapne trio—and Sooraj Barjatya’s next venture, Himesh Reshammiya Melodies is aggressively building a diverse library of commercial soundtracks.
