As the film Mumbai Saga hit the screens, it did face hurdles like getting leaked the film of HD quality on several torrent sites like Tamilrockers. It was obvious to see its impact on the collection of the movie. Well, this really affected the collection of the movie in a big way. The collections for Mumbai Saga at the box office was 2.40 Crs and 2.82 Crores on the first and second day respectively. The word of mouth was decent amidst the critics and audience, yet it did not help the film.

As the experts have predicted a similar amount of collection and thus it would be fair to say that it will not proceed more than 20 to 30 crores as its lifelong collection.
