Mumbai Cops to Get Batla House Special Screening

John Nikhil

The recently released film Batla House starring John Abraham seemed to have done a fair business at the box office. Although it remained behind the other release of the day – Mission Mangal, but the Nikkhil Advani directorial film is back in the news as they plan a special screening for the Mumbai cops. As the makers enjoy the success of their recent release of the film, they now want to extend its popularity to the people who need the most of the morale boost.

Mumbai Police comes first as they happen to be efficient and showcasing the film by the makers seems to be a decent gesture. However, the makers earlier wanted to screen the film before the Mumbai Cops, as the ongoing hearing in the Delhi High Court has prevented to do so. Hence it is better late than never for the makers. They are now all set to screen the film in the Inox Screen at Nariman Pont in Mumbai.

Talking about the same, the director of the film, he and his team of makers have been eyeing for this moment since long but due to the pending court case in the Delhi High Court kept them away from doing the same. Now they have locked the screen and even the dates allowing not just the Mumbai Cops but asking their families to join them. He said that this is certainly not a promotional strategy but just an effort to felicitate the Mumbai Police officers. John has played DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav the Delhi Police Special Cell in the movie, which is inspired by Batla House Encounter.
