MSG – Punjab Bans ‘Messenger of God movie’ Screening Results Mass Resignations Smashed Censor Board
Have you ever seen “Mass Protest”? Indeed, we all must have seen the protest for something that people are desired to, of course some of us might have seen this live and many of us have seen this protest in news, media channels etc. But, can you imagine this time the protest is rolling for what? Ok, let’s guess from the title, Yes this time the protest is rolling all over the B town since Saturday, the protest was then turned into fire, when Punjab government banned the screening of “MSG : The Messenger Of God“. However, the movie features Dera Sacha Sauda sect chief and Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh as leading stars, under the directions and productions of Ram Rahim.
Moreover, getting deeper on to the protest fire then, the movie has already cleared the Certification Appellate Tribunal’s (FCAT) but un-luckily the clearance from Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) is yet to be cleared and thus turning into a controversial news like the movie which was about to release on 16th Jan 2015 is getting delayed day by day, resulting into the protest of CBFC members giving a joint resignation letter to the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. As per the sources the resigning member are Ira Bhaskar, Lora Prabhu, Pankaj Sharma, Rajeev Masand, Sekharbabu Kancherla, Shaji Karun, Shubhra Gupta and T.G. Thyagarajan along with these there are other two members Mamang Dai and Arundhati Nag who are also on the verge to give resignation.
