Mrunal Thakur is a popular actress of Indian Television. She was born on 1st August 1992 in Nagpur wherein she was brought up. She did her schooling and college from Nagpur only and while being in college, she was roped in a popular TV serial of Star Plus called Mujhse Kuchh Kehti ..Yeh Khamoshiyaan playing opposite Mohit Sehgal for the character called Gauri Bhosle. This followed another TV serial called HarYug Mein Ayega Ek Arjun wherein she played the character of a journalist in it. Soon she was seen in a role of a TV show host called Do Fool Chaar Mali along with Barun Sobti, which was directed by Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon fame director Manjo Verma.
Mrunal Thakur went to Dubai to shoot some of its episodes in 2013 and soon it followed another TV show called Kum kum Bhagya wherein she worked with Shabbir Ahluwalia and SritiJha thus becoming a household name for her role. She was seen in Nach Baliye season 7 and in Sau Bhagyalaxmi for being the dance performer apart from seen in the Box Cricket League in between 2013 to 2016. Talking about her entry into films, she debuted with a Marathi movie called Rankarmi working with Dr. Amol Kolhe and now she is gearing up for her second Marathi movie Hello Nandan.
Mrunal Thakur next film was Surajya in the year 2014, which is followed by another film called Vitti Dandu the very same year. As per the recent buzz, she is making her debut in Bollywood film Sultan wherein she would be seen in a supporting role. As far as her personal life is concerned, she was reported dating Sharad Chandra Tripathi, however, the two have parted their ways and are no longer together. Now, she is focusing on her career.
