If you look at the films released last Friday, we could see host of Hindi movies releasing this week in the B Town, but unfortunately not all were notable enough to be reported. However, the only film that was noticed in the media was the long-delayed drama movie called Monsoon Shootout had Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. The movie simply managed a poor collection of Rs.25 lakh, which was seen keeping on the first day or the opening day. THe film Monsoon Shootout, however, the film was released simply got the 250 screens across the country, which has given such a low collection. THe fact is the film has shown at the Cannes festival in 2013.
Continuing to perform on the similar lines, the film failed to embark with a decent figure. The film had a bit of escalation in the coming two days called the first weekend, while the movie had lost the collection in a big way. Hence the box office collection at the first weekend for the film seemed going down. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for Monsoon Shootout went to around 2.25 crores. The experts feel that the film has low collection in the coming week during the week days as well.
On the other side, the film Fukrey Returns released last Friday had witnessed its meter down for the collection. The film continued to earn well over the box office. And as per reports, the film bagged INR 3.25 crore on its second Friday, while in the weekend the film continued to score 10 crore, making the total collection crossing 60 Crores over the box office. The film still has a decent amount of screen in the media with total 1,200 screens all across the country, which have helped the makers to earn a decent amount. So, this was the story at box office this week.
