Money Honey, the Hoichoi’s original web series is based on a true story. This one is definitely a sparkle in the web world. Hoichoi, is basically an on-demand video-streaming platform set for Bangla contents. The platform is all set to release another original web series from its account on the occasion of Eid.
Directed by the talented Tanim Noor and Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, Money Honey is based on true life events drafted under a web series form.
The series will be framing a 32-year-old divorcee, Shahriar Kabir who works in Dhaka Stock Exchange. Being an urban dweller, he is surrounded by chaos all around him. His lifestyle is all up with gambling, partying, enjoying, drinking, women and alcohol driven. Being a ladies delight, he is a pretty smooth talker who has the ability to make any girl fall for him. Thanks to his charming nature as well, he has been a complete chocolate boy amongst the ladies.
But, this Mr. Ladies Delight’s life turns simply upside down when the stock market is hit by a major crisis and he has to bear with the crisis situation coming ahead.
The first look of the web series is already aired and is gaining all the attention.
Talking about Money Honey, the Business Lead of Hoichoi Bangladesh, Sakib R Khan mentioned on a media platform saying, “We are very excited about this one, because this is the first time we are taking on a Dhaka-based true story and presenting it as a Hoichoi original series.”
He further added on this account, “This indeed is the beginning of a beautiful era for Bangla content in online streaming platform. ‘Money Honey’ has a unique narration and storytelling. We hope that the audience will immensely enjoy the series.”
The star cast of the series involves a number of popular faces, including, Shaymol Mawla, Mostafizur Noor Imran, Lutfar Rahman George, Sumon Anwar, Nishat Priyom, and Naziba Bashar.
