Mom 1st Weekend Box Office Collection: Positive Change at the Collection
The film Mom starring Sridevi though had good movies but the start was poor on the first day. The film that got very low response had a decent second and third day collection, which made the box office story for the film really good. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for MOM tolled to around 14 crores, which is really a good amount. The film managed to collect around 6.5 on Sunday while the momentum for the film is expected to remain the same till the Ranbir Kapoor starrer movie Jagga Jasoos finally hits the theatres.
The film box office collection had similar pattern in its collection as we have caught for the Irrfan Khan starrer movie called Hindi Medium that was released a few weeks back. As per the trade pundits the movie is really doing well in the five big cities including Bombay, Delhi, Calcutta, Pune and Bangalore. The collection of 14 has pleased the trade experts and they now see potential in the film collecting a decent amount.
The main lead actress was seen talking about her film in an interview wherein she said that she had a different experience while shooting for the film and that her not so serious decision to do this film has really paid off a lot. Though she kept on avoiding the talks about her film and her role but the kind of attention her role and now the film is getting is really appreciable. Â The film has actors like Akshaye Khanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actor Sajad in the lead roles.
