This Friday has two movies to release, one is the comedy drama movie Mitro and the other is the Anurag Kashyap directed movie Manmarziyaan. This would keep this Friday as the busy day in many ways. The film has debutant lady in the lead role, while Jacky Bhagnani is making his comeback once again with a few flops in the media. Well, now, let’s talk about this film the way it would perform. The film has a meager buzz despite the trailer release by the makers. This is primarily due to the low star value of the film. Thus to expect much from it would be rather unfair for the film.
The film Mitro happens to be an official adaptation of a Telugu movie called Pelli Choopulu. And the film is made at the backdrop of Gujarat, which seems to target the Guajarati both from Mumbai and other vicinity areas. Both the trailer and the music of the film seemed to be okay, however, with low star value of the film, the collection on day one would be rather at a lower note. As per the current buzz, we can expect the film to score 1.5 to 2.5 crore on day one, while the first weekend collection would be on the similar pace as to create a decent word of mouth buzz about the film would be rather difficult to create.
The makers would need a positive trend for the film to prosper in the first weekend of the movie. Hence the first weekend collection for Mitron would be within 8 to 10 crore. The film despite being a youth centric film made at the backdrop of a Gujurati family, yet with low star value, the film is likely to create a good mouth of buzz in the media. Thus it may not get a good boost in the coming time. Moreover, the competition of the film seems to be tough, which will last long for obvious reasons and hence to get a big collection for it would be rather difficult to get. Stay tuned to know more about this film and others only with us.
