Miss World Manushi Chhillar to do her debut in Bollywood opposite Akshay Kumar
It’s been a while we see Akshay Kumar being trolled for not voting in the recently held elections and for his non-political interview with the Indian PM. Now we hear that he is also playing the character of Prithviraj Chauhan in his next film. And as per the reports, we now hear that the Miss World Manushi Chhillar is all set to make her debut in B Town in the said film doing the leading lady’s role in it. The film will be directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, while it will be produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
The same reports suggest that Chhillar would be playing the character of Sayunkta who happens to be the love interest of the King played by Akshay Kumar. It will be a period drama and is expected to hit the floor this year somewhere in the Mid August. Talking about the same, Aditya Chopra, the producer of the film felt that Chhillar has a great potential to play this character hence he has signed the lady. She has also undergone her training for playing the character getting both the dance and acting.
She has researched a lot about the period drama and the era as well to explore more about her character to be played over the silver screen. As we know Aditya Chopra and their production company often sign any novice actor for their three-film contract, this means that the lady would be seen in three different films starting with this Period Drama movie as well. So, it is fair to say that she has bagged the right opportunity at the right time.
