Mimi Trailer: Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi will tickle your funny bones with a pinch of drama
When actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Kriti Sanon, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa and Supriya Pathak are on board there is nothing but magic on the screen. After laying the adorable father-daughter pair in Bareilly Ki Barfi, Kriti and Pankaj are back but this time with a twist. Mimi is a story about a small-town girl who becomes a surrogate mother for a foreign couple. Pankaj who is a driver strikes the deal with the foreigners. He convinces Kriti’s character to become that surrogate in exchange for twenty lacks. Things turn upside down when the biological parents do not want the child eventually.
The trailer of the film looks promising, it manages to tickle the funny bones. The unusual pairing of Kriti and Pankaj makes it interesting. And it also increases the curiosity of what will happen next.
The makers have promised that the film will be an out and out family drama.

Mimi is our first exclusive OTT release, and while a family outing at the cinemas could take some time, with Mimi, we are bringing wholesome cinema to families in the comfort of their homes. We hope Kriti’s lovable and humorous avatar brings joy to as many viewers as possible”, says producer Dinesh Vijan was quoted as saying. “Finding two incredible digital collaborators in Jio Cinema and Netflix is very exciting,” he adds.
The film is produced under Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan present, Mimi, A Maddock Films production. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Laxman Utekar, MIMI stars Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa. The film is set to release on July 30 on Jio Cinema and Netflix.
