Milind Soman: “Not at all uncomfortable being a sex symbol”

Milind Soman is counted as one of the most good-looking and fit actors we have in Bollywood. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about being a sex symbol in the industry.

Milind while having a conversation with the news portal revealed that he is not at all uncomfortable being a sex symbol. The actor considers it as his USP. He feels that if he is uncomfortable with being objectified and being a sex symbol, which he has been, right from the initial years of his career, then he shouldn’t be in this business.

Milind Soman was recently a part of a music video ‘Shringaar’. Composed and written by Vayu with rap by Raftaar, sung by Akasa and Aastha Gill. Directed and choreographed by Punit J Pathak. Along with being the biggest party song of the year, the song also marked his comeback after 25 years. He had no clue as to why had the makers called him for this role. The video was the objectification of the male persona. So according to him, they could have taken someone in their twenties as opposed to him who is in his fifties now.

The actor was also seen spilling the beans about his nude photo shoot on his 50th birthday. He said that he didn’t feel it was a big deal. Adding to the answer Milind shared that his first nude photoshoot was shot in Delhi in the forest. In the shoot, he was just walking around naked, and the photographers were just taking pictures.

Milind believes that some people might appreciate it and some might object. It’s simply human nature, wherein everyone can’t like everything.
