Dulquer Salmaan signs a pan-Indian film with filmmaker Venky Atluri

After the phenomenal success of last year’s Telugu and Tamil romantic drama ‘Sita Ramam,’ Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan has acquired popularity outside Kerala. And, given the growing popularity of pan-Indian action films, it seemed unavoidable that he would be approached for a pan-Indian project shortly. That is exactly what has occurred.

Dulquer Salmaan is working with Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri, who recently made the Telugu-Tamil bilingual Sir/Vaathi starring Dhanush, which was a box office smash.

Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya will produce the film under the banner of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Srikara Studios will present the film.

The production company made the announcement over social media. According to reports, the film will begin production in October 2023. and makers are planning to release the film in summer 2024.

According to media sources, this will be a large-budget project with plans to release it in various languages. The makers have kept the core premise of the film, as well as the rest of the actors and crew, under wraps. Except for Vaathi, Venky Atluri’s previous directorial endeavours have all been romantic comedy films, therefore this new pan-Indian project could potentially be a romantic drama film.
