Mika Singh, the popular hip hop voice behind most of the dance numbers in Bollywood has been banned for good. Taking patriotism over any other thing, the industry’s veteran body has decided on putting a ban for the popular singer and performer.

As reported, Mika Singh was learnt to deliver a performance at an event in Karachi that was organised by a close relative of former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf. Soon after, the news rolled on, the All Indian Cine Workers’ Association has taken a firm decision on putting a ban against the singer.

All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) banned singer Mika Singh from the Indian film industry against performing at an event in Karachi, Pakistan. The event performed in Pakistan is being categorized as a non alignment to patriotism calls.

The AICWA President Suresh Shyamlal Gupta delivering a statement on the same said, “AICWA takes a stand of boycotting all his association with movie production houses, music companies and online music content providers.”

The film body has levied an unconditional ban on the singer and also boycotted him from all the Bollywood movies and music contracts with any of the entertainment companies.

Further adding to it, the film association said, “AICWA will make sure that no one in India works with Mika Singh and if anyone does, they will face legal consequences in the court of law. When the tension between the countries is at the peak, Mika Singh puts money above the nation’s pride.”

The association also asked for the intervention of Information and Broadcasting ministry in this matter.
