MeToo accused Anu Malik Anu Malik quits Indian Idol 11 after NCW issue notice to channel
We have been hearing a lot about Anu Malik’s presence at Indian Idol 11 has created enough stir in the media. He was supposed to quit the show earlier for his alleged involvement in #metoo campaign. Despite all the objections by the audience and others, he was reinstated as the judge and the channel continued with him as a judge. He has often remained controversial for his weird statement of the show in the past as well.
However, when it comes to quitting the show, he remained all the way there only. The channel has been negligent in showing him the exit door. Now, they had to act and the music director had to leave the show when the National Commission For Women sent out a legal notice to the channel against him. Sources close to the channel reveal that Malik has now finally stepped down from the chair of the judge at Indian Idol 11. The commission then shared the same letter on the Microblogging site allowing everyone to know the same.

In the said notice, the commission seemed to have given the reference from the singer Sona Mohapatra’s tweet who has asked the channel to clarify how it has roped in Anu Malik despite being accused of #metoo. The notice by the commission was addressed to the top position holders of the channel including Rohit Gupta of the president of SET.
