Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s sports drama “Jhund” is all set to make its theatrical release. This sports drama will be theatrically released on March 4. The movie had to push back its release date many times but now the wait is over. The sports drama has made headlines ever since its inception.

The film marks the Hindi directorial debut of Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, best known for Marathi blockbuster “Sairat” and the critically-acclaimed 2013 drama “Fandry. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath, Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni, and Meenu Aroraa under the banners of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment, and Aatpat. “Jhund” features Bachchan as Vijay Barse, a Nagpur-based retired sports teacher who is the founder of the NGO slum soccer. The film revolves around a professor who encourages street children to build a football team in order to help them find a purpose in life.

Meanwhile, Big B has lined up projects apart from Jhund. He will be seen in Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and is slated to release on September 9, 2022. Also, Big B has ‘Runway 34’ with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. It is scheduled to be theatrically released on 29 April 2022.
