One of the movies releasing this Friday include the Meeruthiya Gangsters, which is the debut venture of Zeishan Quadri. The film is directed and produced by this actor along with slew of novices including Jaideep Ahlawat, Vansh Bhardwaj, Aakash Dahiya, Chandrachoor Rai, Nushrat Bharucha, and Brijendra Kala to name a few. The film is a low budget venture of this actor who won applauds for his performance in Anurag Kashyap’s film Gangs of Wasseypur. The film had a minimal buzz in the media thanks to the absence of higher star value in the film, and owing to the low promotion.
As per reports, the movie witnessed a very low occupancy since morning, which soared a bit yet managed to impress the audience. So, as per the reports, the first day box office collection for Meeruthiya Gangsters tolled to around 50 lakhs, which was as expected by the trade pundits and experts. The first weekend collection would follow similar lines, which means you cannot expect much collection over the box office. It’s biggest competitor would appear to be Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan starrer film Katti Batti, which will definitely pose challenge before this movie. However, the other film MSG 2: The Messenger would hardly have any kind of impact on it for the obvious reasons.
