Big B & SRK To Come Together at 25th Kolkata International Film Festival
It was a big event to see the 25th Kolkata International Film Festival where more than 214 short films and documentaries participated from around 76 nations all across the world. The event is all set to end by 8th of this month and we heard that the bigwigs of the B Town – Shah Rukh Khan and the mega star – Big B would make their glamourous presence at the show informed the organisers yesterday.
The others who would eb joining the event include the B Town celebs like Jaya Bachchan, Mahesh Bhatt and Rakhee Gulzar, along with the CM of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee, and Volker Schlondorff the Germany’s Oscar winning director. Also, we have thenooky Lies and Videotape fame actress Andie MacDowell and Slovak along with filmmaker Dusan Hanak would be the guests to be seen at the said event, which would be held at the customary venue Netaji Indoor stadium.
The event would be celebrating the classic shows like “Goopy Gayen Bagha Baye” by Satyajit Ray. They will be celebrating its 50th year on the opening day of the event, which would last for eight days. The carnival has the‘thali girl’ as the Bengali actress Srabanti. The fest would be screening the films in more than 17 venues all over the city including places like Nandan Complex, Sisir Mancha, and Rabindra Sadan along with at various multiplexes and single screen theatres. Talking about their work, Big B in on a rest for health reasons and he would be seen with Ayushmann Khurrana while SRK is yet to announce his next venture.
