Rohit Shetty Now to make a Female Cop Movie after Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi
Rohit Shetty’s love for cop drama films has worked well over the box office. He has impressed with the Singham franchise and recently with Simmba as well. His next film Sooryavanshi is also cop drama movie having Akshay Kumar in the lead role. After working successfully with films having Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh his next ongoing venture is with Akshay Kumar. However, his grand plan to embark upon with a movie with cop drama with a woman in the leading role.
Rohit Shetty was recently seen talking about his grand plan which he spoke at FICCI Frames 2019 said that soon he is going to start work for the said film. He said it would take a year or two to hit the film on the screens. When he talked about the cop series, he was also asked whether the filmmaker is impressed with the Hollywood series of Avengers, he said he was inspired by the said series and has got many ideas from the said film series. He said it takes a decade to see things in B Town what he sees in Hollywood today. He said he got the idea of creating a universe from the said film series in B Town.
While talking about the issues with making the said universe, he said that he would face budget issues in India having a superhero film the next year. He then said he made some changes in the universe to make it a cop universe with Simmba film onwards. However, he said that he was scared to release Simmba as he thought this would be happening for the first time in his career. Yet he was hopeful as he said that he knew that the young generation and mature audience would like the film as they would be getting it for the first time in B Town over the silver screen. He is yet to release other details of the woman cop film, till then you keep on guessing who would be the leading lady in the film.
