The film managed to get a decent opening in comparison to the other release for obvious reasons. Despite having much of the positive reviews coming for the film, Mastizaade managed to get a decent collection at the passage of the first weekend.

As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for Mastizaade tolled to around 118 crores, which is actually a good amount despite having the back the back releases of a sex comedy and having negative response for the film. As per the experts, the film is likely to do better over the box office
Now, talking about the Rajkumar Hirani film – Saala Khadoos, which also was released in Tamil apart frm the Hindi one, witnessed a bad collection despite having positive reviews for the same. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for Saala Khadoos tolled to around 5.25 crores. The starring R Madhavan and the debutant Ritika Singh failed to get a good collection. In fact, the last week released serious movie – Airlift continued doing better business making the Akshay Kumar film entered into the hundred crore club.
