Ekta Kapoor is back in the news for another web show called MOM or Mass Orbiter Mission that talks about planet Mars Mission as its content. Talking about the same, it is regarded as the most expensive web series to be made in the domain of streaming platform, which will be made at the cost of 35 Crores. The web show would be produced under the banner of Balaji Entertainment which will be produced solely by Ekta Kapoor. The Web series will be aired on her own digital platform called ALT Balaji. The lead actor in the show is Mona Singh and as per reports, the makers have already started the shoot in Dadar in Mumbai.
The shooting will last till July end and it will then be released in the month of August. This is not the first time when we see Ekta Kapoor investing a whopping amount in making any web show. We know that she had scrapped the web series called Cortel in the middle to reshoot all the episodes taking up new star cast and a new director. Talking about the story of the web show, the sources close to the makers claim that it is inspired by the upcoming film of Akshay Kumar – Mission Mangal. The story talks about a woman who has put her efforts into making Indin reach at the planet of Mars. The sources claim that more than 500 different sets have been created to shoot the web series.
