Salman Khan has been fond of releasing his film on the eve of Eid. All thanks to his huge fan base that love him to catch amidst the festivity. He has been releasing his film on this festive time since 2014. Since then he has not missed a single film and 2020 is not an exception as we have Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai lined up to release on 22nd May this year. However, this Eid, he will have a tough competition since Akshay Kumar is coming out with his film Laxxmi Bomb.
Interestingly, one more film is being added in the list of releases in Eid 2020. Yes, you heard it right, it is the Hollywood action film Fast & Furious 9. This will make things a bit tough for Salman who often used to come up with solo film during the festive time of Eid. The makers have even released the trailer of the ninth edition. It has created a stir in the social media with an increasing amount of views on it. The full-blown trailer is going to attract the audience on the big day when Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai is also releasing.
On the other side, Akshay Kumar is coming out with the film Laxxmi Bomb where he plays the role of a transgender. The film also has Kiara Advani in the lead role. Although Salman may not worry much about Akshay Kumar film, but the threat still looms with Fast and Furious 9 as the franchise has a track record of making huge business in India. Last time with the eighth installment the film has made more than 100 Crore crores, while F&F 7 has made around 90 crores.
