Manoj Bajpayee has a response to Bollywood’s current poor box office performance!

Bollywood’s present collapse, according to actor Manoj Bajpayee, is only a “difficult period”. The movie business has lost a lot of money recently, and just a few movies have been box office hits. There has been significant debate over whether Bollywood has to look within and change its direction as a result of the underwhelming performance of recent movies like Laal Singh Chaddha by Aamir Khan and Raksha Bandhan by Akshay Kumar.

Bajpayee in an interview with Bollywood Bubble said, “Sometimes, we make too much out of a bad phase. Movies are here to stay. Hindi filmmaking will continue. It will sometimes change course but return to its regular state. There won’t be a pre-pandemic stage. There will be some brand-new, thrilling phases in Hindi film”. When asked if Bollywood has any shortcomings he responded by saying, “No, we don’t lack anything. We have entertained for a very long time. Only a change in direction is required. There will be some new productions with excellent actors”.

Something that was spoken about in detail in the interview was the darkest period in Manoj Bajpayee’s career when he relocated from Delhi to Mumbai. “After moving to Mumbai, I was unable to find employment and was constantly searching for food. It was a difficult time and a significant task. I had no money in my pocket and wasn’t doing well. Those four or five years rank as my career’s lowest period. I always have enjoyed every stage of my profession, I can always make it a sad story”. The actor added saying that he doesn’t take his failures seriously and that it was all worth it.

In 2021, Manoj Bajpayee experienced a career high when he won a National Award, but he also experienced personal sorrow when his father passed away. The actor reflected on how his father had always been his “greatest supporter” and how he had always had “blind faith” in him. “My father takes immense delight in every little thing I’ve done in life, no matter how minor,” he said.

On the work front, The actor has Gulmohar and Despatch in the work.
