Sushmita Sen gets back into action mode as she resumes shoot for Aarya season 3
Sushmita Sen, who had a heart attack two months ago, is finally back in action.The actress, 47, has begun filming for the third season of her famous web series Aarya.
Sushmita can be seen training for a sword fight in a teaser video published by Disney+Hotstar’s official twitter handle to announce her return on the set.

Sushmita Sen, who plays the title role in ‘Aarya’, announced the news about her filming for the show on Instagram yesterday with a motivational quote. “#yehbaat #workhard Go BEYOND your conditioning!!! #createyourdestiny. Been busy filming…and missed wishing you all a blessed EID Eid Mubarak to you & all your loved ones!!! Here’s to good health, peace & happiness!!! I love you guys!!! #duggadugga,” the actress wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of a quote.

In an Instagram post at the beginning of March, the actress revealed that she underwent angioplasty at a city hospital after having a “big” heart attack.

Aarya, an official Hindi adaptation of the Dutch series ‘Penoza,’ marked Sushmita Sen’s on-screen comeback and digital debut in 2020. In the series, the actor plays a tough woman who enters the criminal underworld to protect her family after her husband, Tej Sareen (Chadrachur Singh), is murdered.
The series, directed by Ram Madhvani, stars Namit Das, Manish Chaudhari, Sikandar Kher, and Vinod Rawat, among others, in major roles. The show’s first season was even nominated for ‘Best Drama’ series at the International Emmy Awards. The third season’s release date has yet to be announced by the creators.
