Manjhi- The Mountain Man was one of the movie released last Friday along with All Is Well. Despite getting rave reviews for the film and Nawazuddin Siddiqui for his performance, the film was not able to witness a sizable amount over the box office. More often for the reason is that the film is a biopic of a man who made a path drilling high and mighty mountain in the interiors of Bihar. The film could be inspiring and motivating for the society, however, it failed to do well over the box office. Such films are often categorised as niche theme cinema, which has not much to do over the box office.
Hence as per reports, the first week box office collection for Manjhi-The Mountain Man was able to secure only 7.5 crores. One cannot expect much from the film of such genre as it has been witnessed the same with other films like Paan Singh Tomar and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Though such films will get a good round of applauds from different quarters of the film industry and other places, but in terms of collection, you cannot expect more than the earned figure at the end of the first week of Manjhi-The Mountain Man. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the man who is able to portray the best performance over the silver screen.
