This year Karva Chauth will be celebrated on 13 October. Basically, Chauth is a women’s festival, which they keep for their husband’s longtime life. And her fast is very strict, and they cannot even drink water. 

Women worship after the evening. After the moon rises, they complete their fast by offering Arghya. After performing the aarti of the husband, breaks their fast. In the fasting of Karva Chauth, Sargi is performed at four o’clock in the morning. After that women do not eat anything and do not drink water. Due to a lack of energy in the body, some women feel dizzy, problems like a headache. To get energy in the body, do not have to face problems like dizziness and headache, so eat some special things before fasting.

One day before the fast, women should eat easily digestible food. Eat dal, roti, vegetables, khichdi, kheer, buttermilk, curd, and milk.

Eat more fruits to meet the lack of water for fasting.

Coconut water should be drunk so that can stay fit for the whole day.

When you break the fast of Karva Chauth, then don’t eat heavy food. Start with liquids. To keep the body hydrated, you can drink coconut water, juice, buttermilk, etc.

Eat foods like dal and khichdi, and ignore oily things.
