Malhar Patekar Addresses Tanushree Dutta’s Allegations Against Late Father Nana Patekar

Late actor Nana Patekar’s son, Malhar Patekar, has broken his silence regarding the ongoing statements made by actor Tanushree Dutta following his father’s passing. Speaking in an interview with Hindustan Times, Malhar emphasized that the legal proceedings surrounding the matter had long been settled and dismissed further speculation.

Without naming Dutta directly, Malhar questioned why the issue continues to be brought up publicly despite having received legal closure.

“Without naming anyone, I want to say that the case people are bringing up unnecessarily is already over. Judiciary se clear hua hain, case khatam ho chuka; phir bhi bol rahe [the case is over; they still keep talking],” he stated.

Addressing the accusations, he added:

“Aise logo ko mein unko kuch nahi bolunga; joh sach hai wahi rahega, bhagwan unka bhala kare [I have nothing to say to such people. The truth will remain the truth. May God bless them], this is what I have to say to them.”

Background of the Allegations

The controversy dates back to 2018 during India’s #MeToo movement, when Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, and the producers of harassment on the sets of the 2008 film Horn ‘OK’ Pleasss.

Following Nana Patekar’s death on October 8 in Goa—where the veteran actor passed away after suffering a heart attack—Dutta posted videos on social media reiterating her past claims and addressing the media about the incident.

Nana Patekar’s Passing

Nana Patekar passed away early on October 8 after experiencing severe chest pain while in Goa. He was subsequently cremated with full state honors at his Pune farmhouse, attended by family members, close friends, and prominent figures from the film industry.

With the legal case having previously concluded, Malhar Patekar’s comments aim to put an end to further public discourse surrounding his late father’s legacy. Stay tuned to know more about it only with us.
