Pooja Bhatt though has remained away from the silver screen but as per the latest buzz, she will be making her come back with a film based on the economist Abheek Barua’s crime novel called “City of Death”, which she is going to produce. The film rights have been taken by the novel publishing company by Pooja’s production company called Fish Eye Network. In this film with the same title has a character called Sohini Sen who happens to be a middle aged pill popping alcoholic detective? She has been given the case of a young lady losing her life.
Soon the murder converts into minefield with the leading tabloids for her blood. Besides producing this film, the lady will also be playing this character of Sohini, while the plot of the film has impressed the lady a lot. She has to look depressing, addictive along with giving the false appearance of a corrupt person claimed Pooja.
Interestingly Pooja Bhatt has been in news for her habit of drinking in B Town. However, since last year she has left the habit of drinking and has addressed these issues on several public forums. She is now claiming to recover from her addiction. So, at this stage doing a film, which somewhere reflects her persona in B Town is interesting to catch. On the other side, the man who has written this novel has appreciated the move of Pooja for both making the film and doing the central character, which is going to be a rocking movie claimed the economist turned writer.
