Makeup Artist Shivangi Dutt Is Setting New Goals For Her Mother’s Brand ‘Meenakshi Dutt Makeovers’

If you are a makeup junkie and someone who is very much into the beauty industry then you must definitely know about Shivangi Dutt. A makeup and visual artist, she holds a BA (Hons) degree in makeup and hair design from Solent University, Southampton, UK. Being the best in her academics, she passed out with flying colours and was awarded for ‘Innovation in Practice’ by Kroyalan, a leading global cosmetic brand. While working at AnonStyle magazine, she learnt the art of digital imaging, photography and videography. She also interviewed Pablo Rodriguez, the director of Illamasqua and Terry Barber, the director of Artistry MAC UK.

Besides makeup and beauty, Shivangi has opened her doors to fashion as well. She worked as an intern while studying. She got an internship at the FDCI Couture Fashion Week 2016 and she did fashion shows for renowned designers like Rohit Bal and JJ Valaya for ‘Festival Of Hope’, a foundation for all the cancer survivors. This year she was the makeup artist head for Graduate Fashion Week London 2019. Besides this, content creation has been something she lays emphasis on. “To gain knowledge about content creating, I interned at Beauty Papers Magazine based in London which got published in major cities. I have been on set for shoots with leading photographers, hairstylists and make-up artists such as Gary Gill, Casper Sejersen and many others”, said Dutt.

The young and versatile Shivangi has been doing exceptionally well in the makeup and fashion industry. When asked about her work, she stated, “As a makeup artist, I have also gained knowledge about fashion and worked closely in the industry. It has been very helpful for me as I got to learn something new and innovative.” With learning so much from different parts of the world, Shivangi Dutt has now moved to India and is working for her mother brand, ‘Meenakshi Dutt Makeovers’. She has not only set a benchmark but also taken her mother’s brand to a new level by learning and implementing new makeup tactics for the audiences.
