Makers of Dhanush’s upcoming film Maaran dropped the first look poster of the film. Directed by Karthick Naren and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the look poster was revealed on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. The poster features Dhnush slamming a goon’s face on a glass table.
Apart from Dhanush, Maaran also features Malavika Mohanan as the female lead and Smruthi Venkat and Samuthirakani in key roles. Film’s music is given by GV Prakash Kumar. The film will see Dhanush as an investigative journalist.

Suhas penned the script while Vivek gave the lyrics. Maaran is Karthick’s third film after Dhuruvangal Pathinaru and Mafia.
Meanwhile, apart from this Dhanush is quite busy with several projects including Naane Varuven, Selvaraghavan’s sequel to Aayirathil Oruvan, Atrangi Re, an untitled film with Ramkumar, Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man, and a trilingual with Sekhar Kammula.
