Makers of Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada announce a new release date to avoid clash with PhoneBhoot & Kuttey

Kartik Aaryan is currently making headlines for his upcoming action drama Shehzada, following the success of his horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film, directed by Rohit Dhawan and starring Kriti Sanon, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Surprisingly, there have been reports that Shehzada will be released on November 4 this year. However, according to a recent update, the film’s release date has been pushed back to 2023.

Shehzada will now be released on February 10, 2020. The Rohit Dhawan-directed film is said to be a Bollywood adaptation of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo. Kartik had previously informed the source that he would be seen in a different avatar this time. “I believe our director, Rohit, has beautifully adapted it for the Hindi audience.” It is one of those films that appeal to a wide range of audiences. I’m very excited and looking forward to seeing the film. “For the first time, people will see me in this complete avatar of action and comedy,” Kartik stated.

On the same day, Karan Johar makes his directorial debut with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The official release date was announced months ago by Dharma Productions, and now Kartik has made that weekend more interesting with his film.

Shehzada will be Kartik’s second collaboration with Kriti, following their 2019 release Luka Chupi. Kartik has several interesting films in the works, in addition to the action drama. He will appear as a pilot in Hansal Mehta’s Captain India, Shashank Ghosh’s Freddy with Alaya F, and Sameer Vidhwans’ yet-to-be-titled directorial.
