Akshay Kumar who recently resumed working on Prithviraj after the lockdown of the second wave of coronavirus has finally completed the shoot. The actor came back on the set of the film at the Yash Raj Films’ studio to shoot some of the film’s remaining visual effects.
According to the reports, the makers have called a wrap for the film. Prithviraj is based on the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan of the Chahamana dynasty. The film will also see former beauty queen Manushi Chhillar, who will be seen as Sanyogita. This will be Manushi’s first step in Bollywood. Apart from Akshay and Manushai the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari in pivotal roles.
Earlier last week it was reported that Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha has objected to the title of the film. They demanded a change in the title while they also asked the makers to approve the script from the senior representatives of the Kshatriya Samaj.
Earlier the historical film has sparked a debate with the Karni Sena over its title. Directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Prithviraj is produced by Yash Raj Films.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar today announce the release date of his upcoming film Bell Bottom. The film will hit the screen on July 27. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari and produced by Pooja Entertainment ‘Bell Bottom’ also stars Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles. Akshay Kumar is also busy with projects including, Bachchan Pandey, Ram Setu and more in the pipeline.
