The much awaited season 2 of Sacred Games, titled Sacred Games 2 is all set to release soon giving the fans the much needed story unveiling. Apart from a few old faces, the cast will this time include a few new faces apart from Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan.

Sacred Games 2 had been one of the most-awaited web series of the year. The first season of this Netflix crime thriller had received an immense response from Indian viewers and now with millions of fans eagerly waiting for the next installment, it is definitely great news on the go. The first teaser of Sacred Games 2 was released on May 6 followed several stills of new characters introduced in the form of Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey and Pankaj Tripathi.

Recently, the makers dropped a major hint on the release date of Sacred Games 2. Netflix used baby filters on a collage framed with pictures of Kukoo (Kubbra Sait), Katekar (Jitendra Joshi), Bunty (Jatin Sarna) and Anjali Mathur (Radhika Apte) and captioned it as, “25 din mein school shuru hone wala hain.”

Anticipations are pretty high that Netflix might be hinting at the release date of Sacred Games 2 with this. It seems like the wait is almost over with almost less than a month of the release and anticipations are pretty high that the series might release on June 14.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, plays the role of a gangster, Ganesh Gaitonde in the Sacred Games and he has already mentioned that the second season of Sacred Games will be the baap of the first one.

The Sacred Games series is based on Vikram Chandra’s novel with the same name. The crime thriller revolves around prime characters of Sartaj Singh, a Mumbai Police cop and Ganesh Gaitonde, a criminal overlord.

The first part casted a number of prime faces like-Radhika Apte, Jatin Sarna, Neeraj Kabi, Jitendra Joshi, Rajshri Pandey, Elnaaz Norouzi, Kubra Sait apart from Nawaz and Saif. The first season was directed by Vikramaditya Motawani and Anurag Kashyap; the second one will be co-directed by Masaan’s director Neeraj Ghaywan along with Kashyap.
