Major Box Office collection: Adivi Sesh’s film struggles on its first day

Adivi Sesh’s much-anticipated film Major has hit the theatres today. The film has received positive reviews from all critics. Seeing the first day of the film expectations are riding high.

The film ‘Major,’ stars Adivi Sesh and tells the story of 26/11 martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Director Sashi Kiran Tikka explained that ‘Major’ is a story told from the perspective of Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s parents and that the film has no agenda and is made for the audience to savour the emotions alone.

Well, talking about the first-day performance of the film, the film has gotten a decent amount of love and now it would be interesting to see how much the audience liked the movie in the coming days and will the movie break the records of other Telugu films.

As it is based on real events and has good casting but one should not forget that it is competing with Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar’s “Prithiviraj” and Kamal Hassan’s “Vikram”.

According to the reports, there is hype in Telugu states for this film and because of that, the movie can collect —– crores on its first day.

Talking about the Major, it will initially depict Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life. The film will follow a young boy on his road to becoming a commanding officer. Sandeep will be the commanding officer of Operation Black Tornado, in which he and many troops would sacrifice their lives to save the lives of those who have become terrorist captives at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai. The film is based on a genuine occurrence that occurred on November 26, 2008, when many terrorists attacked Mumbai. Sandeep’s connection with his parents and wife will be shown in the film. How it influenced the life of the deceased’s family and close relatives.
