Maharshi happens to be the 25th film of Mahesh Babu the known superstar of South Indian film. The film released this week had positive reviews all across the social media. Vamshi Paidipally is the director of the film and it happens to be a socio-drama film, which has Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh seen in the lead roles. With back to back big films like Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu, the actor Mahesh Babu has been stealing the show taking up the social issues in it.

The film seems to be doing well at the box office and has thus has witnessed a good opening at the box office. In the Nizam area, this South Indian film has taken a very good opening with the earnings reaching to 6.38 crores. Talking about its collection in Chennai, the movie has earned 23 lakhs, which can be called the highest collection for any Mahesh Babu film out there. The film has not only done a decent business in India but at the same time have been going good in overseas. In the US, it has earned 3.57 Crores on the first day, while the weekend would collect a much bigger amount.

The Vamshi Paidipally directorial film seems to have done a decent business at the box office when it comes to states like Tamil Nadu. The film is all about Rishi played by Mahesh Babu who happens to be a millionaire and had a great time while studying with people like Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh. Later, things change and he has to return to the USA and thus help people who remain the struggling farmers. The film is expected to do well at the box office during the first weekend as well in South India.
