Maharashtra Government To the Supreme Court: Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death Case Is Getting Politically Motivated

In the recent development in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the state government has specifically told the higher courts that the death case of the actor is not getting politically motivated as we see things are now getting handled by Bihar Police and other elements.  The state government in their statement to the court claimed that Bihar Police cannot carry out any investigation on the basis of allegations made by someone against Mumbai Police and others.

In their statement the state government said that it was the Chief Minister of Bihar Mr. Nitesh Kumar who motivated the Bihar Police to start their investigation. Earlier it was alleged that things are moving ahead only in the wake of the upcoming Bihar elections in the state. Thus the FIR registered after more than a month’s time at Rajeev Nagar Police Station, Patna, Bihar seems to be politically motivated. The Maharashtra government has given their statement to the higher courts on the plea of Rhea Chakraborty for transferring the case to Mumbai from Patna.

Talking about the case, the state government further claimed that the territorial jurisdiction as per the crime is based in Mumbai and hence the actions taking place for the same would stay in this place only and not in Patna or other place. The criminal offence will be acted upon the occurrence of the incident and not as per the FIR registered against it. The alleged offences are carried out within the local limits of Mumbai. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
