Karan Johar along with AA Films have come on board as presenters for the actress’s debut Marathi film, it also marks the famed production house’s grand entry in the Marathi Film Industry

After presenting the Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster Baahubali films, Karan Johar and AA Films have now collaborated to present the supremely talented Madhuri Dixit’s debut Marathi film, Bucket List that is slated to release on 25th May, 2018. The collaboration marks Dharma Productions’ grand entry in the Marathi Film Industry.

Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar and produced by Jamashp Bapuna and Amit Parikh of Dark Horse Cinemas Pvt. Ltd., Arun Rangachari and Vivek Rangachari of DAR Motion Pictures., and Aarti Subhedar and Ashok Subhedar of Blue Mustang Creations Pvt. Ltd., Bucket List is a story of every woman who has unfulfilled dreams in life and will get inspired after watching this heart-warming film. It is a slice of life story taking you through journey of self discovery.

Excited about this interesting collaboration, Karan Johar says, “I’ve been a staunch believer in regional cinema and since Baahubali, I am confident that good cinema with a great platform breaks the barrier of language. Moreover, the opportunity to launch the superstar actor Madhuri Dixit in her mother language is going to be my absolute pleasure. Madhuri, who will soon start shooting for Karan’s next production directed by Abhishek Varman, is elated about the filmmaker backing her debut Marathi film. “I was longing to work in a Marathi Film and with Bucket List my wish is getting fulfilled. Marathi Films are content driven and is arousing interest world over. There couldn’t be a better birthday month gift for me than Karan presenting my debut Marathi film this summer. Like my millions of fans, I am truly excited and am looking forward to share my experience with everyone,” beams Madhuri. Interestingly, the actress had also appeared in a special song “Ghagra” in Karan’s Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), directed by Ayan Mukerji.

 “Bucket List” also marks Madhuri’s reunion with her “Hum Aapke Hain Koun”..Co-star Renuka Shahane and also features popular actors Sumeet Raghavan, Shubha Khote, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Vandana Gupte, Ila Bhate, Pradeep Velankar and Milind Pathak in pivotal roles.
