Sharanya Turadi is an actress and News reporter from South India who hails from Chennai. She was born on 22nd October 1987 in Chennai and is also called as Sharanya in her circles. She was brought in the same city while did her schooling from Sacred Heart School along with graduating in Mass Communication from the prestigious M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women and later went on to complete her Master’s degree in Broadcast Communication. She started her career working as a News Reporter for the popular South Indian TV called Puthiya Thalaimurai and worked there for four years.

She also hosted a few TV shows on the same channel interviewing several celebrities from South Indian films and other fields. She then got the chance to work in South Indian films as well with the help of her TV channel called Chennai Ungalai Anbudan Varaverkirathu followed by the other Aayiram Muthangaludan Thenmozhi. She then left her job and headed to the UK to try some other options, however, after staying for a few months, she returned to India with the idea of working as an actress. However, she joined News 18 in Chennai working as Senior News Correspondent.

After working for a while she got the chance to act against a Tamil TV show known as Nenjam Marappathillai in 2017 and since then she has been involved in the said series, which is aired on the Star Vijay. Talking about her personal life, she is unmarried and not dating anyone as she is still focussing on her career. She loves dancing and singing apart from acting. She likes nonveg food a lot including Mutton Biryani that remains her favorite. She is very active on social media and loves to post her pictures on Instagram.
