We know Madhur Bhandarkar to be a realistic filmmaker. We have seen him making content-driven films including Fashion, Page 3, Calendar Girls, Heroine and Traffic Signal to name a few. He often chooses real-life themes to make his film. This has even bagged the national award for his films like Fashion starring Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut. Now, as per the latest buzz, the makers are keen on making a film on star wives.
Yes, he has plans to make a film that is loosely based on the lives of star wives like Mira Rajput (wife of Shahid Kapoor), Gauri Khan (wife of SRK) and Twinkle Khanna (wife of Akshay Kumar). He is currently jotting down the script and busy preparing for his next film based on the better halves of B Town actors. He will be soon translating the script into celluloid as he completes writing the same. While when he was asked about the same, we could only hear that he has registered for a title.
His spokesperson confirmed that he has no plans to make the film in the near future, however, he has registered a title for the same but that does not mean he is making it claimed the sources close to him. His assistant also informed that he has several titles registered but when will be making the film on them would be his own decision. Meanwhile, there are reports that he is in talks with SRK for a film, which is based on the life of a cop called Ghalib. The film deals with land mafia and he is going to make his announcements soon.
