It was a poor show for the Rajkummar Rao starrer movie – Made In China as far as the box office collection is concenred. The film starring Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy was a debacle at the box office in many ways. The movie dealt with the life of a Gujju businessman who becomes the suspect of killing Chinese authority person. So, it is a blend of comedy and mystery both at the same time backed with good performances by both Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy.
The critics also gave good reviews for the performance and other things, yet the buzz for the film had remained low for the film. Also, it did face a huge competition at the box office. Well, let’s see how the film has performed on the Diwali weekend. It started with the collection of 1.25 Crores followed by 1 Crores on the second day and on the third day the collection reached to around 1.5 Crores at the box office.
So, with these figures, the 1st weekend box office collection went to around 3.75 Crores, which is certainly not an impressive figure at the box office. The reasons could be the low promotion of the film and secondly the huge competition before it posed by Housefull 4. The film will have a low weekdays collection as well, which means it would struggle at the box office in a big way.
