Maa Behen Trailer Out: Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri Lead a Tense, Laugh-Out-Loud Dead Body Cover-Up

Netflix has officially dropped the trailer for its highly anticipated film Maa Behen, promising a chaotic, fast-paced crime comedy where lies spiral wildly out of control. Featuring a powerhouse star-studded cast, the movie is set to premiere globally on the streaming platform next month on June 4, 2026.
Produced by Abundantia Entertainment in association with Opening Image Films, and directed by Suresh Triveni (Jalsa, Tumhari Sulu), Maa Behen shifts the spotlight onto an unforgettably dysfunctional family. The narrative turns into a wild rollercoaster when a mother-daughter trio suddenly finds themselves tasked with hiding a dead body in their apartment while simultaneously managing nosey neighbors, a looming wedding, and their own hilariously fractured dynamic.
The Anatomy of a ‘Kaand’
The newly released trailer introduces audiences to the chaotic, everyday friction between Rekha (Madhuri Dixit), Jaya (Triptii Dimri), and Sushma (Dharna Durgaa). Their lives are turned completely upside down when a prominent community figure, Gupta Ji (Ravi Kishan), unexpectedly drops dead right inside their living room.
What follows is an absolute whirlwind of panic, frantic cover-ups, emotional meltdowns, and highly questionable decisions. As the film’s promotional tagline jokingly warns:
“Some families pass down values. This family of Maa Behen hands down KAAND!”
Director and Cast Insights
The project breaks away from traditional cinematic templates, offering fresh dynamics for its leading stars. Director Suresh Triveni wanted to tell a story that feels both rooted and wildly entertaining… The trailer is just a glimpse—the real chaos begins on June 4.” Madhuri Dixit is breaking away from traditional maternal archetypes, the legendary actress shared, “Rekha is not your typical Hindi cinema mother, and that’s exactly what made the character so exciting for me… She may not be perfect, but like any mother, she tries to hold her family together amidst all the chaos.”
Triptii Dimri is reflecting on her return to Netflix, Dimri noted, “Jaya is the ghar ki sushil beti (responsible daughter), but she also has a strong sense of right and wrong. She’s constantly trying to manage the chaos around her, only to get pulled deeper into it.” She also described sharing screen space with Dixit as “truly surreal.” Ravi Kishan expressed his delight, praising Dixit’s grace and versatility while celebrating the “young and infectious energy” brought to the set by co-stars Triptii and Dharna.
