In a recent buzz, we heard something bad about Karan Johar. The production house Lycra Productions have cancelled their deal with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Earlier in 2020, there was an update that reported how Lyca Productions, which remains the biggest production house from the South, wanted to enter into Bollywood by collaborating with Dharma Productions for making Hindi movies. It is regarded as the biggest production company in the South.
The said production company from the South announced their collaboration with Karan Johar’s production house in order to produce Hindi films. It was in December 2020 this news came out that the two are networking and they are set to even rope in some big production houses like Fox Star Studios and it has already been with the company for several of their ventures in the South.
Karan Johar has been very much stable in his work when it comes to Fox Star Studios and they have worked together in several movies. However, after Fox group merged with Walt Disney, the company then stopped working with Karan Johar and Lyca came on the scene. The two have collaborated for a couple of movies including 2.0 starring Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar in 2018, which was science fiction. But as per the latest buzz, Lyca Productions have called up their deal with Dharma Productions. This can be called as a great setback for Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions.
