Finally, after such a long wait, the makers of Mohanlal starrer Lucifer have announced a much awaited news for their fans. The makers of Lucifer are soon coming up with a second part, titled, Empuraan. The Malayalam heartthrob, superstar Mohanlal took onto his Facebook page and announced about the film’s sequel yesterday. There was also a short video clip featuring the actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran along with a scene that has been shot in Russia that is simply going to leave you stunned. Moving further in the clip is the hinting revelation on the upcoming second part of the film that will be starting right from where the first part ended. Earlier today, the makers of the film also revealed the film’s title.

Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran and other makers of the film also interacted with media. The makers of the film, Lucifer have unveiled the film’s title along with an interesting poster. The title, Empuraan, supposedly means ‘more than a king and less than a god’. The team is expected to kick-start the shooting for the film very soon. As seen in the short clip, Mohanlal is going to play the role of Abram Qureshi, who is known as Stephen Nedumpally in Kerala. Well, Lucifer has already made it to Rs 200 crore club worldwide at the box office, making it the second Malayalam movie to achieve such a huge success. This is why the Moviegoers are pretty excited for the upcoming second part.

Prithviraj Sukumaran has become a dear director winning the audiences’ hearts with his directorial debut with Lucifer. The film, Lucifer was produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and written by Murali Gopy. The other star cast included Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Saniya Iyappan and the Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi.
