Sanjay Leela Bhansali has orchestrated a remarkable casting coup by uniting Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Alia Bhatt for his upcoming film Love and War. This highly anticipated project, which is being described as a love triangle, also marks the reunion of Ranbir Kapoor and Bhansali after their 2007 film Saawariya. Initially, Bhansali was set to commence shooting for Love and War on October 10; however, recent developments indicate a two-month delay.

Sources close to the production have revealed that heavy rains in Mumbai have significantly impacted the filming schedule. The shoot is now expected to begin by late November or early December. “Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films are known for their grandeur, and he insists on a specific visual aesthetic. The incessant rains in Mumbai have delayed set construction, and when work finally began, the set was damaged by the earlier rains,” a source informed Bollywood Hungama.

Despite the setback, it seems Bhansali is viewing this delay as a blessing in disguise. “SLB is utilizing this additional time to refine the script and music for Love and War. He plans to conduct more workshops with Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky, allowing for further development of the story and its musical elements.
