Lock Upp: Munawar Faruqui mocks Shivam Sharma by comparing himself to Iron Man & Thanos
In the upcoming episode of ALT Balaji and MX Player’s reality program Lock Upp, Munawar Faruqui and Shivam Sharma will square off. Munawar is shown making fun of Shivam Sharma, who dubbed himself “Iron Man and Thanos” of Lock Upp, in a trailer released by the show’s creators. Shivam gets enraged, but Karanvir Bohra, Poonam Pandey, and others can’t stop giggling.
The promo starts with Karanvir concerning famous personalities from Marvel Cinematic Universe with his fellow competitors. “Hulk ki band bajegi Thanos ke samne,” he says. Shivam then joins the discussion and compares himself to Iron Man and Thanos. He says, “Thanos se yaad aaya. Iss saal Lock Upp season one ka Thanos bhi main hun aur Iron Man bhi main hun.”
Replying to this, Munawar joked, “Kya baat hai dono hi marr jaate hain,” referring to the characters’ deaths in Avengers: Endgame. Shivam then tries to troll him back, and in reaction, Munawar says that his reply was a ‘mic-drop’ comment.

Responding to the video, an Instagram user fell a comment saying, “Dono mar jaate hai (laughing emojis)” Another one commented, “Munawar ne kya bola hai.” A third one wrote, “Munawar on fire.”
Kangana Ranaut is the host of Lock Upp. Poonam Pandey, Payal Rohatgi, Nisha Rawal, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, Sara Khan, Saisha Shinde, and Karanvir Bohra are among the show’s contestants, in addition to Munawar and Shivam.
