Farah, along with her three kids, broke plates in a restaurant as per Greek tradition. According to this tradition, shattering plates and glasses wards off evil spirits.
The filmmaker and choreographer shared a video on Instagram yesterday where she is seen with three of her kids, Czar, Diva and Anya. They all cracked ceramic plates together and were seen having fun doing it.
While sharing the video, she wrote in a caption: “BETTER BREAK PLATES THAN HEARTS..(who will clean the mess tho?) @opa.mumbai # kidsnightout # Greektradition”

However, Farah’s fun video received a mixed response from the netizens. Some users were amazed by the group for posting a fun activity and praised it, while some didn’t like their actions and criticised them for the same.
One person wrote, ” wasting money by shattering so many plates,” while another said that he never saw anyone breaking plates despite being from Greece.
The filmmaker got married to editor Shirish Kunder in 2004 after meeting and falling in love on the sets of SRK’s movie, Main Hoon Na. In 2008, they became the proud parents of triplets, Anya, Diva, and Czar. She often posts pictures and videos of her kids on social media.
Main Hoon Na was also her directorial debut, and later she worked with SRK in hit movies like Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year. She has also judged dance reality shows like Nach Baliye and DID Lil Masters. She even hosted her cooking reality show, Farah Ki Dawat.
Farah Khan is currently working on director Karan Johar’s upcoming movie, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh as leads.
