Game of Thrones has simply been a throne builder in terms of audiences following it. With millions of fans growing around, this time a really strange wish popped up from the GOT fans league.

A girl from Lahore wrote a letter to the Pakistan Daily Dawn asking the government to declare Mondays as ‘Game of Thrones’ holidays. She framed the letter simply like a pro and touched all spokes about how declaring Mondays as a national holiday will make it easier for everyone to watch this epic battle of kingdoms.

Monday blues are the most common fever we all go across but, since the release of the current season of Game of Thrones, things have simply gone different. Since 15th April, getting over the weekend fever has simply gone easier as the GOT fans eagerly wait for Mondays.
It has already been three weeks since the Game of Thrones current season episodes are aired. Halfway into the season, the series has been delivering the heartbreaking “Battle of Winterfell” that has even added to the difficulty of waiting for the next episode to get aired. The show goes live at an ungodly hour at 6:30 am on Mondays.

The girl from Lahore simply pleaded to make all of these troubles a bit simpler for the Game of Thrones fans.

Speaking her mind this context, she wrote, “I cannot believe we are already half way through the last season of Game of Thrones. All those characters – Arya, Sansa, Jon Snow, the Lannisters – finally will meet their end. Or kill the Night King. I wish we could easily watch shows like Game of Thrones on TV – in order to watch an episode on Monday morning I have to stay up all night on Sunday… or wake up at 5am.” .
In her letter, she also added on familiarizing the readers about the story of Game of Thrones along with a valid reason to validate her point. She said, “It is a story about two powerful families, kings, queens, knights, rebels, witches, liars and honest men – playing a deadly game for control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. Sometimes when I watch the show, I feel it reflects what is happening in politics today as well.”

She specifically demanded that just the three upcoming Mondays should be declared as a government holiday as the final three episodes are left to conclude the season. She didn’t mention her real identity but, did add a little humor to her introduction mentioning, “A girl with no name” – a moniker no GoT fan needs an introduction to.
