Laxmmi Bomb starring Akshay Kumar to Stream On Disney+ Hotstar, Check Details

With the current lockdown continuing, the B Town has been hampered in a bad way as we can see it locked for almost two months. Akshay Kumar who has a couple of films to release this year, there is no update about the Sooryavanshi release and same with 83, which were supposed to release in April. With things becoming difficult for the film releases, the makers of Laxmmi Bomb have decided to release on the OTT platform. 

There were rumors that suggested that the Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer film will get an OTT release on platforms like Disney Plus Hotstar. But, things did not get confirmed, although there are some fresh reports from a leading B Town portal that added strength to this idea and Laxmmi Bomb will never release in theatres now and will only get the OTT platform release. As per reports, the makers had a meeting on 4th May which will make a direct release on OTT platform. 

As per sources, the makers have completed the principal shoot of the movie last year in November and there was some path work remaining which would get the reshoot in February. As per reports, the director Raghava Lawerence is working on the final editing thing along with the post-production of the film from Hyderabad. Akshay Kumar is expected to complete his dubbing work in coming few days, claimed the reports. 

The makers have signed an umbrella deal by renegotiating the digital and satellite rights with the OTT platform which is estimated to around Rs. 90 to 100 crores along with music rights income. With this a major chunk of the money will go to Akshay Kumar’s pocket as he is also one of the producers and the lead actor of the movie.
