Lara Datta slams media and says they are putting words in her mouth for predicting Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the hottest couples of the industry. After every few days rumours of their wedding do round in the media stories. Recently, a tabloid reported about the superstar’s wedding. As per the report Lara Dutta said that she believed that Alia and Ranbir are getting married this year. As soon as the reports went viral, fans started talking about it. However, Lara shared a tweet saying that the media has been putting words in her mouth.
“As lovely a couple as both these actors make, I’m certainly no seer or soothsayer to predict any such thing! Media needs to stop putting words in our mouth and coming up with completely nonsensical news,” she tweeted on Tuesday morning.

While promoting her recent film Bell Bottom the actress was engaged in an interview where she was asked about the young couples of Bollywood. Lara said she doesn’t know who is dating whom since she is from an older generation. However, when specifically asked about Alia and Ranbir, she said she believes that they are getting married this year.
Even though Alia and Ranbir never officially announced their relationship it is quite obvious that they are in love after all that social media posts and what not. The two first made a public appearance together in 2018 when they arrived together for Sonam Kapoor’s wedding.
Meanwhile the two actors will soon be seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. This will be the first time they will be sharing screen together. On the other hand, Lara is gearing up for the release of Bell Bottom also starring Akshay Kumar the film will be released in theatres on August 19.
